Maeve O’Brien is an acrylic painter who studies memory and selfhood through color and abstraction. Her work predominantly explores the relationships among pain, pleasure, grief, and feminine identity.

Now based out of Troy, NY, O’Brien is developing a collection of drawings and paintings that further explore personal truth and connections to subconscious thoughts.
